I love to display the photos of my kids with Santa over the years! In the past I put them all out on a table but this year they helped solve a little dilemma.
There’s this painting above the buffet in our dining room (which just happens to be the first room you see when you enter our house)…this painting is of a really pretty street in a town in Italy somewhere. I dream of going to Italy and seeing places like this, but I’ve grown a little tired of that style for my house. It was a phase…I’m sure Adam thinks I have way too many phases when it comes to decorating. 🙂
Anyway, I have plans for this wall that I hope to share on the blog soon, but for now I had to do something about this painting. I just wasn’t feeling it for Christmas!
I realized that I don’t have a picture of it but I did remember to take one right before I finished covering it.
I decided to cover it with wrapping paper that I got from the Target Dollar Spot.
Then, I added this wreath that I already had.
Now I have a great place to display the Santa photos!
I just love looking through these each year. My oldest is 10 and my youngest is 7. I will be taking them to sit on Santa’s lap for as long as they will let me. 🙂
How do you display your Santa photos?
I’m sure I’ll be needing a new idea for next year!
