My oldest daughter just turned 10 last weekend so I’m feeling a little sentimental. How has this happened so quickly? They were just babies yesterday!
This is one of my favorite photos of my girls because those smiles were real. The photographer told her to whisper something to her sister. I have no idea what she said but they thought it was hilarious! 🙂
There was a song by Tim McGraw that came out when my 10 year old was just a baby and I’ve always loved it-
You’re beautiful baby from the outside in.
Chase your dreams but always know the road that’ll lead you home again.
Go on, take on this whole world.
But to me you know you’ll always be, my little girl
My sweet, talented husband (Adam) helped out with the design. He’s the artistic one of the family, so when you have access to that kind of talent, you take advantage of it! 😉
I found some wood that we had leftover from another project. I stained it with a dark stain and then painted it with the same paint that was used on my fall centerpiece.
We used carbon paper to transfer the words to wood, then filled them in with a black permanent marker. I had planned to fill them in with paint but the marker worked a little better for the font I chose.
I have provided two different printables. The first is the same size as the sign I made (10 x 20). It will print on 3 pages. If you cut each page where it says “cut here”, they should line up perfectly.
The second is for an 8 x 10 printable in case you would rather just print and frame.
