Best Slim Thick Outfit Ideas – How To Dress

Slim thick has been a huge buzz word lately, but what does it mean? Slim thick is a term to describe women with big booty and thighs and a snatched waist.

If this is you, then you know exactly how hard it is to dress your body type.

When you have a “slim thick” body, you have “unconventional” proportions. How do you find clothes if you have a size 6/8 butt and a size 2/4 waist?

There’s no such thing as standard clothing sizes. You can be a size 10 in one brand and a size 6 in another brand. Because of this, it’s almost impossible to find something that fits without tailoring all your clothes. However, there are options out there, ladies.

So, to all my girls with the big booties and snatched waists, this one’s for you!

Slim Thick Outfit Ideas:

Cropped Wide Leg Pants

Wide leg pants are seriously a lifesaver when you have thick thighs. Comfort is key, so if you’re shopping for something that fits you around the waist, then the wide leg will be your best friend. This style will allow you breathing room in the legs, but won’t have that awkward bagginess at the back.

The pants pictured above have a drawstring, which is even better. You can adjust the waist to fit you exactly and be totally comfortable.

High Waist Skinny Jeans

High waisted skinny jeans will be your best friend if it isn’t already. These jeans just always sit right on the waist and compliment your curves.

High waist anything also adds the illusion that you’re taller. They can make your legs look longer and thinner. Not to mention, the high waist is almost always a better fit than a low rise. You don’t get that baggy lower back area happening that a lot of low waist jeans cause.

Fit And Flare

Fit and flare jeans are a slim thick girl’s best friend. These jeans hug you in the right places to accentuate and compliment your curves. Fit and flare jeans are also extremely comfortable, which is very important to a lot of people.

Fitted Crop Tops

Wearing fitted crop tops will help to accentuate your natural hourglass shape. If you’re wearing baggy pants, then you will want to counter it with a fitted top. You should stay away from loose bottoms and loose tops together.

Co-Ord Sets

Co-Ord sets are one of my favorite things to wear. You don’t even have to put any thought into your outfit because the two-piece set is already complete! Co-ords are also great for a slim thick body. You have the cropped top to show off some tummy.

Bodycon Dresses

As daunting as they seem, bodycon dresses compliment a beautiful curvy body. Embrace your body and give off confidence when you strut around in a bodycon dress for that next special occasion.

Belt Around The Waist

The best way to accentuate your small waist is by throwing a belt around it. This will really give you that curvy, hourglass look that a lot of us want.

Dressing a curvy body is all about illusions, and a belt around the waist definitely helps to achieve a slim thick look.

Vertical Stripes

If you’re short and thick, then this one’s for you. Vertical stripes can help to elongate your legs and make you appear taller. Vertical stripes also aid in the elusion of making you appear thinner.

Avoid horizontal stripes! Horizontal stripes make you appear wider, and we definitely don’t want that.
